Very true why Colorado leave the 2nd most profitable football league for one that is not there, yet. Colorado would be better off going to a newly formed Pac-10 then leave to join a new MWC.

Sorry, one more detail. Why does Colorado do this? You'd have to convince them that they have a better shot at a BCS bowl, the competition in a 12-team system with a champion will attract elite recruits, and they will be squaring off with an in-state rival. It'd be a tough sell, but if you could you'd have some incredible football.

To clarify: Each team has to play all the teams in its division and 3 teams from the other division, with 4 non-MWC slots available.

I would love to strengthen the MWC to 12 with a North and South. But in this dream I drop Air Force and pick up Colorado, and then have Boise State, Fresno State, and Nevada come on board. Two great football schools and two great basketball schools. Air Force becomes independent and plays Army and Navy and Notre Dame, and UTEP or Tulsa joins Big 12.

North:
Boise State
Wyoming
BYU
Utah
Nevada
UNLV

South:
TCU
Fresno St.
Colorado
Colorado St.
San Diego State.
New Mexico.

Rival Week:
BYU-Utah
Boise St. - Wyoming
Colorado - Colorado St.
Nevada - UNLV
TCU - New Mexico
Fresno St. - San Diego St.

Champion: Winner of North v. South, goes to a BCS Bowl.

After watching Utah lay the smack down on Bama how can you tell me that Utah did not deserve the title game? Utah played a respectable schedule and they were UNDEFEATED - what else did they need to do to prove they deserved the title game? If you look at the teams Utah beat throughout the season and who those teams beat it is tough to find a team that accomplished more. If the BCS wants this issue to go away they should have given Utah the title game. If Utah would have been beat in a title game then there is no question but if they pulled off a win then Utah would have deserved the national championship - let the game decide the champion. Isn't this why the games are even played? I suspect the BCS was worried that Utah would have won...
The fact is, involving the legislature is the way we will get a playoff system. We have tried everything else and we are still stuck with the crappy bowl system. If you have a real fix that hasn't been tried then let's hear it. Otherwise, shut your pie hole and quit acting like you know what you are talking about.

where is the gender equity case in this? The BCS allows their schools to provide more opps for women than other conferences...seems like title IX proponants would be all over this?
