TCU finds new coach, and BYU in Glendale

TCU found its new coach less then a month after firing Neil Dougherty after the Horned Frogs loss to UNLV in the MWC tournament.   The new hire is former Kent State coach Jim Christian this is a real good hire for TCU, because Christian is the only MAC coach to guide their team to 6 straight 20 win seasons, and this past year Kent was ranked in the top 25 for the first time in school history and made the NCAA tournament well they fell short against UNLV.

TCU is looking for some success on the hardwood they have had only one winning season in 6 years and have not made the NCAA’s since 1998.

As for BYU they will participate in the first ever basketball double header at University of Phoenix Stadium, which is the home to the NFL’s Arizona Cardinals.  The Cougars will play Arizona State while the other matchup is to be Louisville and Minnesota.  There is no set date yet, but the game will be in December.
