Utah’s Kyle Whittingham named AFCA Coach of the Year

Utah’s Kyle Whittingham was named the American Football Coaches Association Coach of the Year.

The AFCA award is the oldest national coach of the year award, dating back to 1935, and is the only one chosen exclusively by the coaches. The Utes competed their best season in 115 year school history and their second undefeated season in five years.
