Spring Football Preview: TCU

Spring practice starts: Feb. 28

Spring game: April 4

3 Things to watch

  1. Star defensive end Jerry Hughes returns, but the Frogs will need to find others to replace on a defense that returns only four starters from last year.  Knowing coach Patterson TCU should have little trouble finding replacements.
  2. The Frogs return eight on offense, and the only area of emphasis will be to find a running back mate to go along side Joseph Turner.  The offense for once could be the strong point for TCU.
  3. Quarterback Andy Dalton returns and will need to get familiar with the  new wide receivers this spring in order to get the offense in an early groove.
